What is cover stock?

Cover stock refers to the heavy or thick paper that is used for catalogs, folders, or other bound documents that require a sturdy cover that can handle a bit of wear and tear. Cover stock can be either coated or uncoated. If it is important that your cover stand out and feature a lot of images or graphics, you will want to choose a coated cover stock. If the looks aren’t as important and/or you are on a tight budget, uncoated stock is the way to go.
